Hi, I'm Tess, or Tessa if you insist on formality.
I'm fascinated by the role language and culture play in our world. So, when I started my education at Penn State University, I took all the classes on intercultural communication I could find. I earned my B.A. in public relations with a minor in communication arts & sciences (you know, speech writing, rhetoric, all that stuff).
After graduation, I worked in project management and operations. During this time, I earned my master's in nonprofit leadership from Seattle University, where I discovered I could use my love of language to make big waves in the world, and embarked on my current career in marketing.
When I have free time, I spend it reading book after book (after book after book), getting excited about food, and obsessing over my cat. I also run a local book and social club, as well as an office book club. (I have a problem.)
If you'd like to know more about me, get in touch. I'd love to hear from you.
